IPhone 15 Pro, without a SIM card slot!
Last September, Apple unveiled their iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 14 is still a few months away from unveiling. In the meantime, rumors are being heard about iPhone 15.
According to the latest rumors found on the internet, physical SIM slots will be eliminated from the iPhone 15 series in 2023.
According to GSM Arena quoting the Brazilian publication Blog do iPhone, the iPhone Pro model (possibly iPhone 15 Pro) that will be unveiled in 2023 will not have any physical SIM card slot. The phone will rely entirely on e-SIM technology for connectivity.
The source added that the phone will support dual e-SIM. This allows the user to use two lines simultaneously. However, it is not yet clear whether the non-Pro model will have full e-technology or a physical SIM slot.
The technology giant wants to eliminate the SIM card slot to consistently create portless iPhones. However, for countries that do not have e-SIM facility, a physical SIM slot version of the iPhone can be made.
